Second Chance…
Last night the BET Awards aired and was plagued with all the stars and stripes in today’s music. Overshadowing the bright lights and great performances, one moment greatly stood out. The Chris Brown MJ tribute was a second chance and redemption for the young singing and dancing star . After the issues that affected the lives of the parties involved and ours, CB finally took to the stage to regain his crown. After doing extreme justice to the world’s greatest performer, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown had the most sincere moment that America has seen in years. As this young man began to perform Man in the Mirror, his emotions took over as I’m sure he was simultaneously overwhelmed with previous relationship issues AND the warm embrace from the world, all at the same moment. Honestly, I felt so many emotions watching the clip… Chris, this is your second chance, which proves that God has a plan for us all and HE understands our situation as he allows us to make mistakes and dust ourselves off again.
